TAKE HEED
Sunrise on the Gulf of Mexico
We all have heard, "Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight" in regard to the weather.

Here at the beach if the tide is rough, the green or yellow flag is brought down and up goes a red flag.

And of course, in the Bible Jesus tells us, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24)

These are perilous times and we each need to take heed, be forwarned, be on the lookout, pray and ask God for wisdom, study to show ourselves approved, study the Word, study the movements that we are in and look at the backgrounds of the leaders, looking behind the scenes of the events today and putting it all into biblical perspective.

We each are accountable to the Lord alone in all that we say and do. Men pleasers can not please God, so we seek to please the Lord and not people. We don't walk in fear because God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind. So we go onward, abiding in Jesus, giving thanks in all things, rejoicing in the Lord, trusting God in all things, obeying and believing His Word - hallelujah!
